1. PretreatmentMark: Other sizes and capacities are customized.
Pretreatment is a key part to protect the RO systems running stably and long no matter for seawater desalination, but also for brackish water desalination. Here are the main parts that we have to fully consider for making the pretreatment proposals:
a. Abundant germ, bacteria and algae. Their propagation and fast growth not only brings a lot of trouble to intake devices, but also directly interfere in desalination equipments and pipes normal running.
b. Periodical tide. It brings a lot of sediment and makes the turbidity be high, which makes the pretreatment unstable.
c. Corrosivity. All equipments, valves and pipes should have corrosion resistance.
2. Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination
Seawater has high dissolved salt and high hardness, which brings big corrosion to equipments. And the big water temperature range makes the seawater desalination systems much more complicated than other desalination systems. The project investment and power consumption are much higher too.
