DETAILS

Since its founding in 1963, Hydranautics has been committed to the highest standards of technology research, product excellence and customer satisfaction. Hydranautics entered the reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment field in 1970, and is now one of the most respected and experienced firms in the membrane separations industry. Hydranautics became part of the Nitto Group when it was acquired in 1987. Hydranautics corporate headquarters is located in the city of Oceanside, California in a 160,000 ft2 (14,684 m2) manufacturing facility residing on 14 acres, all owned by Hydranautics.

Hydranautics' continuing commitment to research and technology results in the ongoing development of a range of membrane products. Hydranautics' products are currently in use on seven continents throughout the world for such diverse applications as potable water, boiler feedwater, industrial process water, wastewater treatment, surface water treatment, seawater desalination, electronic rinse water, agricultural irrigation and pharmaceuticals.

CPA2

The workhorse and industry standard, CPA2 delivers consistently high performance, day in and day out

CPA3

The element with the best combination of productivity and salt rejection available

CPA5-LD

CPA5-LD has minimized biofouling, minimized colloidal fouling and enhanced cleanability

High Performance for the highest quality water

When high performance counts, CPA membranes from Hydranautics set the standard for RO membrane elements.

CPA membranes provide the highest salt rejection rates available - every element on every order for every customer.

ESPA1

The world's leading high productivity, energy-saving polyamide membrane

ESPA MAX

Offers the same rejection characteristics as ESPA2 but with even higher flow rates

ESPA2 LD

ESPA2 LD has minimized biofouling, minimized colloidal fouling and enhanced cleanability

ESPA-B

Provides a new option for communities where boron levels are naturally high or for manufacturers challenged by boron contamination issues

ESPAB MAX

Increased active surface area for higher flux and rejection, with the same superior boron rejection as the ESPAB

A New Generation of ESPA Performance

The growing family of ESPA (Energy-Saving Polyamide) RO membranes continue to meet the ever-increasing demands of the water treatment industry. Industrial users worldwide have made ESPA their first choice for high productivity and salt rejection.

There's an ESPA solution to satisfy even the most challenging water treatment needs with exceptional performance, productivity and savings.

LFC3 LD

The Low Fouling Composite LFC3-LD (Low Differential pressure) reduces fouling in wastewater and in surface water with high fouling potential for reuse and reclaim applications.

True hydrophilic membrane chemistry

Superior membrane technology is the key to Hydranautics' innovative LFC (Low Fouling Composite) membrane. LFC membranes offer breakthrough technology in the treatment of difficult feedwaters and municipal wastewater. Until now, these applications have required significant pretreatment prior to subjecting them to a composite polyamide membrane.

The LFC3-LD is designed with a thicker brine spacer lowering the Delta P meeting the increased demand for lower fouling membranes that require less frequent cleanings while maintaining a high permeate flow. The LFC3-LD provides 11,000 gallons per day (41.6 m3/d) of flow at 99.7% nominal salt rejection. This membrane is well suited for the treatment of difficult feed waters for numerous municipal and industrial applications, which up to now required significant feed water pretreatment upstream of any composite reverse osmosis membrane.

SWC4B

The highest boron rejection available

SWC4 Max

Ten percent additional active surface area and exceptional boron rejection

SWC4B Max

Ten percent additional active surface area and superior boron rejection

SWC5-LD

Lower fouling for maximum performance

SWC5 Max

Ten percent additional active surface area and flow and superior boron rejection
